PROJECT ESTIMATOR
Position Responsibilities:
- Providing job estimates for new and existing clients.
- Securing floor plans and job checklists.
- Providing estimates for all products including flooring, cabinetry, and all associated product lines as they become available.
- Work with sales and business development departments to determine correct specs for each job and input information into Callidus software.
- Develop correct and clear seaming diagrams for new bids and existing estimate requests.
- Organize and maintain electronic and hard copy blue prints for each builder/job. Included in this is the input and revision in Microsoft Excel for both new and existing projects.
- Work with Sales department to demonstrate accuracy and comprehension of in house spreads and ensure accuracy prior to final submission.
- Prioritize projects and duties to meet established customer and internal deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Attention to detail
- High organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Creative problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are REQUIRED
- Professional demeanor is REQUIRED
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and on a team is REQUIRED
- Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe PDF) proficiency is REQUIRED
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
